Bridget Marr

Bridget is a Singapore based, UK registered dietitian who runs her own private practice, Nutritional Solutions. She volunteers as nutrition advisor for Singapore Celiac Support Group and Gluten Free Singapore.

Bridget is a member of The British Dietetic Association; a main committee member of The Singapore Nutrition & Dietetics Association is registered with the UK Health Care Professions Council.

Bridget has a special interest in the nutritional treatment of gastrointestinal conditions including coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome / functional bowel disorders, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and liver disease. Bridget has completed accredited FODMAP training and finds this approach very rewarding and successful to use with clients.

Bridget is grateful for the opportunity to volunteer for Gluten Free Singapore,  helping out with the dynamic, friendly team who give their time so generously. She has worked extensively with clients living gluten free and is keen to increase awareness of coeliac disease and other gluten related disorders in Asia. The fact that the bowel lining (and other organs of the body if affected) can be completely healed by eliminating gluten from the diet is incredible!

Bridget graduated as a Dietitian from King’s College, University of London in 1991 and has worked in hospitals and the community in London and Singapore. Through working as a Dietitian in Singapore and multicultural London she has a good knowledge of cultural dietary patterns.

Bridget moved to Singapore in 2014 with her family. In her spare time she enjoys travelling around the region, yoga, walking, and tennis.
